Why do I need to choose a network?

A network is essentially a storage and transaction processing system for your assets. To check your balance or make a cryptocurrency transaction, it's crucial to select the correct network where your assets are stored. This is similar to choosing the right bank for traditional currency transactions.

Which networks does Basal Wallet support?

Basal Wallet currently supports Ethereum, Polygon, Optimism, Avalanche, Base, zkSync, and Arbitrum networks.

What is a Gas fee?

A Gas fee measures the computational effort required to execute a specific transaction on a network. On blockchain platforms, it's a fee users pay to miners for processing transactions. Gas fees vary across different blockchains.

Customizing Gas Fees

The custom Gas fee feature lets users adjust their transaction fees according to their needs. However, be aware that fees can surge during network congestion. Users are advised to consult blockchain explorers for average fees before proceeding with transactions.

Why pay Gas fees for failed transactions?

Failed transactions still consume computational resources on the network, hence the Gas fees. These fees compensate for the resources used by miners to process your transaction, even if it fails. Basal Wallet does not receive these fees, so refunds are not possible.

Can I recover assets sent to the wrong address?

Unfortunately, Basal Wallet cannot recover tokens sent to an incorrect address. Blockchain transactions are irreversible, so always double-check the recipient's address before confirming a transaction.

Why did my transaction fail?

Transactions can fail for several reasons, such as insufficient token balance to cover the Gas fee, low token amount for the transaction, trading tokens with low liquidity or during market volatility, or setting too low a Gas fee. If your transaction fails, you can attempt it again without additional approval fees, after checking average transaction costs on blockchain explorers for a reasonable Gas fee adjustment.

How to delete an account?

Please understand the irreversible consequences before deleting your Basal Wallet account:

• You will no longer be able to log in or access your account. All transaction history will be permanently erased and cannot be recovered.
• Your security items and verified ID information will be permanently deleted from our systems.
• All devices for your account will be deleted.
• If there are any ongoing receive or send transactions or uncredited assets in your account during the deletion process, these assets will not be recoverable once the account has been deleted.

Tại sao phải trả phí Gas cho giao dịch thất bại?

Giao dịch thất bại vẫn tiêu thụ tài nguyên của mạng, do đó vẫn phải trả phí Gas. Phí này dùng để bù đắp công sức máy tính của người khai thác xử lý giao dịch của bạn, dù thành công hay không. Basal Wallet không nhận khoản phí này và do đó không thể hoàn lại.

Gửi nhầm tài sản có lấy lại được không?

Rất tiếc, Basal Wallet không thể không thể phục hồi token gửi nhầm đến địa chỉ không đúng. Giao dịch trên blockchain là không thể đảo ngược, vì vậy bạn cần kiểm tra cẩn thận địa chỉ của người nhận trước khi xác nhận giao dịch.

Tại sao giao dịch của tôi không thành công?

Làm thế nào để xoá tài khoản?

Lưu ý sau khi xoá tài khoản bạn không thể khôi phục tài khoản và tất cả dữ liệu của bạn sẽ được xóa vĩnh viễn khỏi hệ thống của Basal Wallet.

• Bạn sẽ không còn khả năng đăng nhập hoặc truy cập vào tài khoản của mình. Mọi lịch sử giao dịch sẽ được xóa vĩnh viễn và không thể khôi phục.
• Các mục bảo mật và thông tin định danh đã xác minh của bạn sẽ được xóa vĩnh viễn khỏi hệ thống của chúng tôi.
• Tất cả thiết bị cho tài khoản của bạn sẽ được xóa bỏ.
• Nếu có bất kỳ giao dịch nhận hoặc gửi nào đang diễn ra hoặc tài sản chưa được ghi có trong tài khoản của bạn trong quá trình xóa, những tài sản này sẽ không thể khôi phục một khi tài khoản đã được xóa.
